chocolate for breakfast

well I missed the hotel breakfast (this isn't surprising I haven't made it once, but since it's Saturday they kept it open until 10am)

so I had earl grey tea and chocolate for breakfast.

today's the big day (or night anyway)

there's some cool things going on today. mainly it's the Mess With Texas party in the park with the Breeders (who are on right before the band is so we probably can't make it) and a whole bunch of other bands.

I just learned about Mingering Mike, but it turns out he is appearing at Backspin records today (where we wandered in yesterday). Henry always knows the cool happenings. Read up on him, it's kind of fascinating.

well almost time to go. I need to eat something else very soon it's already 1pm! chocolate will not be enough.
