50 Records, the innovative and energetic Minneapolis based record label and Zude, the revolutionary interactive website for both fans and bands a like are proud to announce their inaugural official day party at this year’s South by Southwest music and media conference.

For the past few years 50 Records has become one of the Midwest’s hottest independent labels by representing break-out bands such as White Light Riot, Elevation, and Weaver at the Loom, but their regional presence is set to explode onto the national scene with their release of Elevation’s STRANGELOVE.

New to the web? Zude, a social media network, makes it easy to express yourself -- no programming required. Drag it, drop it, share your world -- feel free! And, if it just so happens you do lean towards geek tendencies, Zude provides one of the most advanced platforms available for the creation of highly personalized web content. Power and ease of use -- combining the best of both worlds. www.zude.com

Come March 14th, 50 Records and Zude will be joining forces at Club Fuze to present all their beautiful fun-loving patrons with free drinks, a chance to win two custom made snare drums, Zude demonstrations, incredible live performances and MUCH MORE. Keep your eyes open and your ears pealed to discover the other SPECIAL surprises they have up their sleeves. Also, check out their website at www.50records.com/sxsw/ You won’t want to miss this party!

The Bay Area Arts & Music Organization (BAAMO) from the Tampa Bay area of Florida, is a group of ten volunteers who creatively raise money all year through benefit concerts, selling coffee, brownies, beer at yard sales, and getting donations from Tampa Bay music fans in order to host the Florida Bandango and give the performers making the trip some gas money. BAAMO also has released two cds of local bands. There is no corporate sponsor, no multilateral tie-ins. No one in the organization gets paid one cent (unfortunately).

I'd be remiss not to post the 8th Annual 20x2 Event, Monday March 10th (doors @ 6:30, show @ 7) @ The Parish on 6th.

Twenty Speakers, One Question, Two Minutes each. Technically not a 'party' in the strictest sense (depending on the answers), but easily as fun...
