At this point, I'm focusing all of my energy getting to SXSWi 2008!

I generally start out with a massive list of panels to attend which, based on scheduling conflict and how tired I am from staying out too late the night before, changes quite a bit by the end of the conference. This year, most of my panels fall under the Design and Miscellaneous categories. I'm not ashamed to say I give preference to panels lead by people I know (or have heard of).

High on my Panel List

Roll Over Gutenberg, Tell McLuhan The News (George Kelly)
Where Are The Black Tech Bloggers? (Lynne d Johnson)
Does Tomorrow's World Need Designers? (Tim Leberecht)
Social Design Strategies (Emily Chang)
Wireframing in a Web 2.0 World (Richard Rutter)

Self Replicating Awesomeness: The Marketing of No Marketing (Brian Oberkirch)
Africa 2.0: Affecting Change Using Technology (G. Kofi Annan)
Career Transitions: From DIY to Working for The Man (Cindy Li)
Sexual Privacy Online (Violet Blue)

There are so many panels this year that look great.

The problem is always the double and triple booking of panels at the same time and having to decide which to go to.

I posted a huge list of the ones I'm interested in on my blog but will most likely heavily edit the list once more details come out in February.

I just added all the ones I am interested in to my iCal today and all days have time slots with multiple possibilities for me. One day there are SEVEN at the same time I would like to attend. ACK.
