How Will You Cover Your SXSWi Experience?

Twitter will be a huge component of my SXSW experience, if you're on Twitter feel free to follow me. I'll also be posting multimedia mobile blog posts using Utterz which will be auto-posted here to the SXSW '08 Insider's Guide as well as to my moblog.

Additionally, I'm trying to set up Qik on my Nokia N95 now and will be doing some live coverage, mostly from parties.

What other ways will you be utilizing social media to document your SXSWi experience?

Permalink Reply by qthrul on March 1, 2008 at 10:37am: Jott is fairly accurate toll free transcription and posting service that allows for blasting to various places like Wordpress.org installations and LiveJournal among others.

There is a delay in processing the transcription of course... but having a Jott that pushes to a Wordpress.org installation that has TwitterTools installed would drive up the link to your twitter and bring folks back to your blog all from leaving, essentially, a voice mail message to Jott.

(http://www.brandflakesforbreakfast.com/sxsw/). We've also setup individual Tumblrs, will Tweet (how could you not?) and we're each bringing Flip video cameras.

SXSW '08 Insiders Guide
everyone gets their own custom (private) email address that we can use to send in photos/videos from our phones (or other email application).
How to find yours: Log in to the network. click "My Settings" on the right column (near the top). Add the email address in the "Add by Phone" section to your phone (or email address book).

Twitter & Pownce
I'm likely to primarily use twitter but i just added pownce to my iPhone b/c:
1. twitter might go down (it's not even sxsw yet and it's having problems)
2. pownce is a bit more intimate b/c i can make more distinct choices about who i communicate with and whether i want to send them a file or a message.; ▶ Reply to This

If I do video, it will probably be via Viddler, or YouTube. Or both via TubeMogul.
