What's up Rockers???

No one here mentioned The Sonics, The New York Dolls or Devo.

Aside from that my favorite modern rock bands that I cant wait to see are The Riverboat Gamblers, The Cute Lepers, The Poison Arrows, The Dollyrots and Spinnerette---off the top of my head.

The Hooks I'm definitely going to see. And I will be seeing Slaraffenland for the THIRD time in a row, not counting day parties. They are an electrifying band and so very creative musically.

Electric Touch. These guys are texans, with a british lead singer (go figure!) and they sound just like that; texas boogie meets english indie/glam. Not only that but they lay it out on the stage like they were possessed by james brown. good time rock and roll with non stop showmanship. Worth checking them out, at one of the shows or parties their doing during sxsw.
also heard a bit about t-bird and the breaks, an austin based soul outfit, think dap kings, if sharon jones were a white dude.
-also, i've heard a humor of a Faces reunion, but might be total BS?

The Burning Hotels are a must for anyone that has not seen them. Still hoping they get in.
